Search Engines are simple, just not understood

Search Engines are designed to do very minimal things. They read your site, determine some keywords and then determine how relevant your site is to the term or phrase the user entered. To determine this relevancy they leverage “contributing factors”. As an example, some factors evaluated are how many times another site links to yours, how many times someone mentions your site in the news, the number of mentions on social media like Facebook and many Other key attributes thought relevant by the search engine.

2001

CarlowSEO Begins

CarlowSEO began as Carlow Cosnulting focuing on general IT related services. Trevor Carlow was essentially starting a “side hustle”

2001 – 2017

Customer Service is Paramount

Carlow Consulting provided quality, customer focused services including small office network installations, full network backups, website consulting and other IT related services.

2011

CarlowSEO is Launched

In 2011 Trevor Carlow, Founder of CarlowSEO saw the need to help small to mid-size businesses with eCommerce, and the partnership with Shopify began!

2018

Expansion of Services

Seeing the need for a full service firm to best suit clients, CarlowSEO has begun expanding. Now we are offering Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, SEO, and Shopify development and support to a range of customers around the globe.

2019

Business as usuall

CarlowSEO continued to drive new business and strengthen their position as a trusted Shopify advisor to clients world wide. Trevor Carlow continued to lead the company through trusted partnerships to increase their clients productivity, revenue and brand rankings. Also launching a more involved Klaviyo support service.

2020

COVID Impacts Merchants Everywhere

The pandemic hit many of CarlowSEO’s clients hard in 2020. From the closing of brick and mortar stores to the increase in online traffic and sales models. CarlowSEO continued to help clients be flexible while struggling through these tough times. From implementation of local pickup and delivery, to SEO techniques to drive traffic to previously ignored stores… CarlowSEO and Trevor Carlow were there.

2021 – Present

Back to the GRIND!

After helping numerous clients through the pandemic, business returned to normal… well kinda! CarlowSEO and Founder Trevor Carlow continue to work with clients daily to help them meet their needs!

About Trevor Carlow
CEO and Founder

After attending Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Trevor graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Technology Support and Training.

While working in a few local companies and an internationally recognized software company, Trevor founded Carlow Consulting to offer a few local businesses professional IT services. This quickly evolved into Search Engine Optimization related services. These services, and Trevor Carlow’s core beliefs now drive CarlowSEO.

Trevor is an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, brother of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, and enjoys numerous outdoor activities including Lacrosse, Kayaking, Hunting, Fishing, Skiing, and perhaps the best… Riding his Harley

Most importantly Trevor Carlow is a father! While he works tirelessly to support customers world wide, he does prioritize family first. This means that there are hours he won’t work, vacations that are taken, and time is spent ensuring the important people, know how important they are!
